The annual membership fee agreed at the Annual General Meeting is £5 (£2 concession) for individuals. £30 is suggested for groups.

This membership is renewable after the next annual general meeting in February/March 2010.

Your subscription will help Heal the Earth Ayrshire to provide you with information and help us to promote environmental and ecological improvements throughout Ayrshire. We need your support to make Heal the Earth Ayrshire an effective pressure group at all levels of society and government.

About You


Constitution

1. Name

The organisation shall be knows as Heal the Earth Ayrshire, hereinafter known as "Heal the Earth Ayrshire".

2. Objects

Heal the Earth Ayrshire is established for the following charitable objectives:

  1. To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of Heal the Earth Ayrshire
  2. To learn a way of life that is in harmony with the Earth and implement this in out lives. To support and cooperate with each other and develop a sense of community whilst working to save the Earth through what we give.
  3. To raise awareness by publicising the ideas and educate about the need for everyone to contribute to this cause. To encourage formation of HEAL THE EARTH groups in other areas and maintain liaison with same and wit other like minded groups.
  4. To negotiate for eco-friendly products, means of transport, wrappings and local labelling, etc.
  5. To reduce carbon pollution in transportation by supporting local produce, projects and businesses that are eco-friendly. To reduce personal travel by car and air by endorsing healthy eco-friendly alternatives.
  6. To lobby MPs and local councillors to achieve changes of policy. To seek government backing for eco-living including financial aid.
  7. To develop awareness and appreciation of nature and strengthen our relationship with the Earth.
  8. To recognise the importance of positive thought in healing both the Earth and ourselves. To develop this creative way of thought and express it according to personal choice. To accord other members tolerance and to be respectful of each other's views.
  9. To do all other things as will properly attain the above purposes without bias to race, creed or gender, and to seek to positively promote equal opportunities.
